The Pantages Theater, built in 1918, is one of the final remaining venues from Alexander Pantages’ once-thriving theater empire. Listed on the Tacoma Register and the National Register of Historic Places, an award-winning restoration in 2018 cemented its place as the jewel of downtown Tacoma. The Pantages Theater hosts to hundreds of local, national, and international acts annually and is home to the City of Tacoma’s resident arts organizations.
