Access to Solicitation Documents

The City of Tacoma publishes and distributes solicitation documents (RFBs, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) in electronic form, on this website.  Copies of a specific solicitation document of interest, including general and technical specifications, any technical drawings or plans, bid and proposal forms, and submittal instructions, may be downloaded and printed for your use.  To submit a bid or proposal, you will need to download and print the official forms included in the solicitation document.  In some solicitations, large technical drawings or blueprints may be available in hard copy format, distributed through a designated plan distribution service.  If applicable, such information will be provided in the specific solicitation document.  Please note that specifications are not provided by postal or delivery service, or by email.  All bid documents are provided in PDF format.

Document Revisions

Please note that revisions to a solicitation document may be issued by the City after the solicitation was initially published.  Your bid or proposal response could be rejected if you fail to acknowledge any issued amendments or if you fail to submit your bid or proposal based on any published revisions to the original specifications or submittal instructions.  You are advised to return to this website on a regular basis to monitor for notices of revisions that affect previously published bid solicitation documents.

Registration

To receive notification from the City regarding potential amendments or other updates to the original solicitation document(s), prospective bidders and proposers must register at this website for each solicitation of interest.   All registration information must be accurate, complete and current.  If you fail to register or provide required information, you will not be notified of possible amendments or updates.  In the absence of valid registration, the City shall not, under any circumstances, be responsible or liable for guaranteeing that such amendments and/or updates will be made available to you by other means.  You are directed to periodically visit this website to obtain current information.

This is not a vendor registration list.  The purpose of registering is to identify those interested in a particular solicitation as a bid holder.  Once the solicitation is completed, the list is not maintained and will not be used for notification of future opportunities.
