Status - Completed

The City Council adopted the Proposed Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use Regulatory Code for 2013 ("2013 Annual Amendment") on June 25, 2013, with two ordinances - one amending the Tacoma Municipal Code and one amending the Comprehensive Plan.  Posted below are a summary of adopted amendments and the two ordinances:

The City Council adopted the Plan Amendments (Ord. 28158) based on the Planning Commission's recommendations of May 1, 2013, with no revisions, but made some minor revisions to the Commission's recommendations while adopting the Code Amendments (Amd. Sub. Ord. 28157).  The Council's revisions are summarized below:

Planning Commission Public Hearing and Recommendation

The Planning Commission completed the technical analysis for all proposed amendments in February 2013, conducted a public hearing on March 20, 2013, and made its recommendations to the City Council on May 1, 2013.  The City Council conducted a public hearing on May 21, 2013.
