Schedule

  • Groundbreaking - November 5, 2012
  • Project Kick-off - November 7, 2012
  • Side Street Parking striping - November 2012
  • Construction Start - January 2013
  • All major construction activities were complete by November 27, 2013.
  • No construction will occur between November 28, 2013, and January 1, 2014. Minor final activities (planting revisions, installation of sidewalk art and amenities, concrete/warranty work, striping etc.) will occur after the New Year.


Funding

The Pacific Avenue Streetscape project is funded primarily by Federal and State grants with City matching funds.

Design

South 15th to South 17th Streets, West Side

Permanent striping will be applied after the holidays, pending weather.

South 11th to South 15th Streets, East and West Sides

The permanent railing will be installed after the holidays, pending weather. 

South 7th to South 9th Streets, East Side

The permanent striping of South 7th to South 9th street and South 15th to South 17th street will occur after the holidays.
