City Clerk's Office

The City Clerk oversees the City Council's agenda and business meetings, retains the official record of all formal meetings of the City Council, acts as the custodian of the City seal and official City records, and codifies all Ordinances into the Municipal Code. The City Clerk also serves as the City's municipal election official and assists in the initiative and referendum process.


City Council District No. 2 Position is Now Closed

Applications and materials were due to the City Clerk's Office no later than 5 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018. 


City Council District No. 2 Interim Appointment Applications


A study session discussion on the process and selection criteria for this position, as well as an executive session to evaluate qualifications of applicants, will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 12 PM. The City Council may consider motion(s) at the City Council business meeting that night to narrow the number of applicants for final consideration if necessary.

Candidates selected will be interviewed during the study session on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 12 PM. The City Council may consider motion(s) to appoint the interim Council Member at the business meeting that night.


At the City Council meeting of Tuesday, February 27, 2018, the City Council forwarded the following applicants to be interviewed for the Interim City Council District No. 2 position: Bradd Busick, Justin Camarata, AJ Gordon, Russ Heaton, Ann Locsin, Janey Mattson, Sarah Rumbaugh, Ronald Stephens, and Dan Voelpel.


The City Clerk's Office receives appeals to the City Council, distributes copies to appropriate departments, sends a variety of notices to appellants and/or applicants, publishes notices of appeal hearings, and maintains files on appeals.
