Event Road Closures

Anticipated Event-Related Road Closures Expected Around Tacoma through Sunday, November 10:   

  • On Thursday, October 31, the Proctor Treats event will close North 26th Street from North Adams to North Madison streets and North Proctor Street from North 25th to North 28th streets from 3 – 7 PM. 
  • On Thursday, October 31, a private residential block party will close South 47th Street between South Cushman Avenue and South Asotin Street from 3 – 9 PM. 
  • On Friday, November 1, the Matador Dia de los Muertos event will close South 8th Street from Pacific Avenue to Court A starting at midnight and running until noon on Saturday, November 2. 
  • On Saturday, November 2, the Dia de los Muertos Procession will involve a rolling, police-escorted lane closure starting in front of the Eastside Community Center on East 56th Street, traveling westbound to Portland Avenue East and then northbound to East 52nd Street and returning to the Community Center from 12:30 – 3 PM.

Recurring Closures
  • The Broadway Farmers Market will close Broadway from South 9th to South 11th streets on Thursday, October 31, from 7 AM to 5 PM.   

  • The Proctor Farmers Market closes North 27th from North Proctor to North Madison streets every Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM.
