Invest in the City's Brewery District
The City of Tacoma has published a Request for Proposal (RFP) soliciting proposals from persons or entities (Proposers) interested in purchasing City property currently utilized for the City's Street Operations' Division:
It is the City's intent to sell the property for development and improvement consistent with the Community Development Goals provided in the RFP. Ultimately, the City is looking for Proposals that will catalyze the revitalization of the Brewery District and South Downtown.

Submit a Proposal

Minimum Requirements
The Broker will review each Proposal to determine whether it meets the Minimum Proposal Requirements, including:
- Pay the minimum bid amount(s).
- Establish Financial Capacity for acquisition and development.
- Consistency with the City's South Downtown Subarea Plan. See Appendix G.
Reviewed by the Selection Advisory Committee
Proposals that meet the minimum requirements will be reviewed by a Selection Advisory Committee and scored against Evaluation Criteria provided in Section 7.0 of the RFP. Proposals that do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered. Based on it's review, the Selection Advisory Committee will make recommendations for award.
Submittal Deadlines
Proposals must be submitted prior to the Proposal Submittal Deadline(s).
The initial Proposal Submittal Deadline is 5 PM on November 26, 2013.
Subsequent Proposal Submittal Deadlines may be required and published as necessary per Sections 8.0 and 9.0 of the RFP.
Proposals may be submitted at any time prior to the Proposal Submittal Deadline(s). Proposers are encouraged to submit Proposal Form A and the Financial Capacity Documentation as soon as possible in order to verify that Proposer will meet the minimum Proposal Requirements.
