Location: Washington State History Museum Auditorium (1911 Pacific Avenue in Tacoma)

  • Project exhibitions: Explore the latest projects and engage with staff.
  • Overview of Public Works at the City of Tacoma: Hear from Public Works Director Ramiro Chavez and staff on an overview of why we do what we do, how we do it, and why we do it.
  • Video presentation: A brief video presentation on why our dedicated employees love coming to work at the City of Tacoma.
  • Departmental achievements: What we’ve accomplished as a department this past year.
  • Looking toward the future: What’s on the horizon for Public Works.

The event is closed to the public and will be recorded by the City's TV Tacoma Production staff to air at a later date. Refreshments will be provided in the lobby area and not allowed in the auditorium. Parking information will follow after registration.
