Redevelopment Authority (TCRA) is currently requesting quotations for asbestos abatement services to be performed at the property located at 1216-1218 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma. More information is available through an asbestos survey. Deadline for

The City of Tacoma is a seeking medium density midrise multifamily infill project for the property at 1210 Tacoma Avenue South, which is currently the Tacoma Public Library parking lot. The lot is 32,500 square feet with 250 feet of frontage on Tacoma Avenue and 130 feet depth on Earnest Brazill Street and is centrally located across the street from the Tacoma Main Branch Public Library and one block from Bates Technical College. It is perfect for either a downtown mixed use project or multifamily residential site. There are excellent views of Mt Rainier, downtown and Puget Sound waterfront. There are Pierce Transit local/regional bus lines on the adjoining street and it is within one half mile of MultiCare and Franciscan Medical Centers with 11,000 employees.
