State of the City Address

Mayor Woodards Hosted the 2018 State of the City Address on April 11 

Mayor Victoria Woodards hosted Tacoma's 2018 State of the City Address on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Mayor Woodards spoke on the theme “Our Tacoma: Our City, Our Success” while reflecting on her first 100 days in office. Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tom Pierson was the master of ceremonies. Performing during the event were the Grant Elementary Troubadours Choir and the Lincoln High School Drumline. Following the event, there was an opportunity for attendees to enjoy light refreshments, mingle, and record a brief personal video message for Mayor Woodards.
