Requests for Proposals (RFP)

 

Single Family Home Rehabilitation and Loan Underwriting

The Tacoma Community Redevelopment Authority (TCRA) is requesting proposals, to include price quotes, from qualified organizations that possess demonstrated experience providing single-family home rehabilitation and loan underwriting services and which possess a working knowledge of the Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and the funding requirements that underlay the program. Services are requested for the Single-Family Homeowner Occupied Rehabilitation Loan Program. The Program provides loan of up to $30,000 to low-income homeowners residing within Tacoma city limits. Loan proceeds are available to correct health and safety code violations and related habitability issues. Proposals are due no later than 4 PM PST August 23, 2017 to the TCRA offices. An original and three (3) copies of the proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelop identified clearly with the words "Proposal for Single-Family Homeowner Occupied Rehabilitation Loan Program Services RFP- Do Not Open With Regular Mail" addressed to Shannon Johnson, Contract & Program Auditor, City of Tacoma, Community & Economic Development Department, 747 Market St., Room 900, Tacoma, WA 98402-3793. Late proposals and proposals submitted by e-mail or facsimile will not be accepted. Please refer to the Standard Operating Procedures and TCRA Minimum Building Standards when preparing a proposal. Market Rate Multi-Family Housing

The Tacoma Community Redevelopment Authority (TCRA) is requesting proposal for a  high-density, mid-rise, market rate, multi-family infill project for a property located at 824 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The property is near major employers, educational institutions, and cultural amenities. A Feasibility Study is available for reference.

 

Hard copy proposals are due no later than 5 PM PST September 15, 2017 and must be delivered as described in the Request for Proposals. Proposal submissions must include one (1) original and three (3) copies of the proposal and should be submitted to TCRA, 747 Market St., Room 900, Tacoma, WA 98402-3793, Attn: Shannon Johnson. Hand delivered proposals may be submitted to the Customer Support Center at the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., Room 220, Tacoma, WA 98402.

 

Affordable Multi-Family Senior Housing

The Tacoma Community Redevelopment Authority (TCRA) is requesting proposals for a high-density, multi-family, affordable senior housing infill project for a property located at 824 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The property is near major hospitals, medical centers, a senior center, and cultural amenities. A Feasibility Study is available for reference.
