They chatted about the City Council’s work on affordable housing, efforts to expand our urban forest, and plans for meeting transportation ...infrastructure needs. She’ll use these conversations to guide future City Council work.

Our Public Works crew is wrapping up landscaping work along Schuster Parkway later today (Friday, June 13, 2025)! They’ve been working all week to:
🛣️ Beautify this waterfront stretch of #Tacoma
✂️ Improve visibility by cutting back vegetation
🐳 Keep pollution out of Puget... Sound by removing debris and sediment build-up
🚸Replace worn out and damaged signs
💙 🙏 Thanks to our crews who have been out there all week making this space safer and more environmentally friendly.
