City of Tacoma Observes Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday on January 18


Administrative offices at the City of Tacoma will close on Monday, January 18, 2021 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.  

The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will be open as normally scheduled for Solid Waste customers, from 8 AM – 5:30 PM, and customer garbage, recycling, and food/yard waste collection will not be affected.

The latest updates on City facilities, including the administrative offices at the Tacoma Municipal Building complex (747 Market St. and 733 Market St.), are available here
