The Historic Preservation Office is holding two community information sessions on proposed amendments to historic preservation-related portions of the Tacoma Municipal Code.

These info sessions will help prepare you for public comment opportunities at the Planning Commission Public Hearing on August 6 and the City Council Public Hearing on October 7.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Tacoma beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, effective until 10 PM on Wednesday. Community members can visit a Tacoma Public Library to cool off. Day services for individuals experiencing homelessness are available at:
