Construction Update

The City recently awarded a contract to Miles Resources, LLC for work on Phase 2 of the project.

Due to a positive weather forecast, the contractor was able to take the opportunity to begin work earlier than expected. Grinding work began Wednesday, May 20, 2015 and paving was done on May 21 and 22, 2015.  Striping should be done by Wednesday, May 27, 2015.

Construction of the first Phase of the project from Lincoln Avenue to Marshall Avenue was completed in 2014. The City has added a second Phase to the project, which continues south to the SR 509 frontage road.
