City of Tacoma Observes Christmas Day December 24 and New Year's Day December 31

Administrative offices at the City of Tacoma will close on Friday, December 24 in observance of Christmas day and Friday, December 31 in observance of New Year’s day. 

The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will be closed on Saturday, December 25, and Saturday, January 1. Garbage, recycling, and yard waste pickup will be collected as normal before these holidays, and all other customers can expect pickup as normally scheduled. Collection information specific to a customer’s address can be found at tacomarecycles.org/collectioncalendar.

All Tacoma Public Library facilities will be closed December 24, 25, 31 and January 1. 

There will be no parking enforcement by City staff on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1.
