Budget Presentations Kick Off Today 

-- Community Town Hall on October 21, Public Hearings on October 27 and November 10 --

TACOMA, Wash. – Following City Manager Elizabeth Pauli’s October 6, 2020 presentation of the 2021-2022 Proposed Biennial Budget, budget presentations offering a deeper dive into how the proposed budget influences each of the City Council’s Priority Areas begin today. These budget presentations will take place at noon during Study Session. Study Sessions air on TV Tacoma, and also stream on tvtacoma.com and Facebook LIVE. Zoom access details are available here.

Community Town Hall on Proposed Budget October 21, 2020

On October 21, 2020, the City will host a virtual community town hall with the City Council from 6 - 7:30 PM on Zoom. Staff will provide a brief presentation on the proposed budget and offer opportunities for attendees to share their thoughts and ask questions.

Public Hearings on Proposed Budget October 27, 2020 and November 10, 2020

The City will host two virtual public hearings on the proposed budget starting at 5:15 PM on October 27, 2020 and November 10, 2020. Access details will be posted soon at cityoftacoma.org/budget

Feedback Accepted Through Balancing Act Tool Through November 13, 2020

Community members seeking to provide feedback on the proposed budget may continue to do so using the City of Tacoma’s interactive budgeting tool, Balancing Act, through November 13, 2020.
