2020 Community Cleanup Program Has Gone Curbside

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 Community Cleanup program has been modified. This year only, the program will serve Tacoma customers with curbside pickup, rather than at a central location like in years past. Residents can dispose of unusable household items on their neighborhood's designated date, at no charge.

Each Curbside Community Cleanup day provides an opportunity for residential customers, who live in single-family homes or duplexes, to clean their properties and save a trip to the Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center.

Residential customers who have large items to dispose of are asked to call (253) 502-2100 in advance so collection crews can bring the right equipment and vehicles. Visit the Curbside Community Cleanups 2020 page for a full list of accepted items. Crews will take up to three large items, and up to 25 sealed bags or boxes of unusable household items will be accepted per household.

Curbside Community Cleanups are going on now through October 2020. For a current list of designated cleanup dates, visit cityoftacoma.org/cleanup or call (253) 502-2100.
