City of Tacoma Observes Independence Day July 3

 

The City of Tacoma will observe Independence Day on Friday, July 3, and essential services including emergency services and garbage, recycling and yard/food waste collection remain operational. However, the Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center, located at 3510 S. Mullen St., will be closed on Saturday, July 4. 

All Tacoma Public Library locations that have resumed limited services will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. 

City facilities, including the administrative offices at the Tacoma Municipal Building complex (747 Market St. and 733 Market St.), continue to be physically closed to the public until further notice
