South 19th St. and Clay Huntington

Project Description

This project will install a new full traffic signal system at the intersection of Clay Huntington Way and S. 19th Street. Improvements at the intersection will also include accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) push buttons and countdown signals, signage, pavement/crosswalk markings and curb ramps meeting ADA standards. The project improvements will provide an enhanced connection to Foss High School, and for pedestrians traveling to/from Cheney Stadium, Fred Meyer, Metro Parks Tacoma Headquarters, and Heidelberg Davis Park.
