
On January 24, 1984, TV Tacoma premiered with its live broadcast of the Tacoma City Council meeting. Over the last 25 years TV Tacoma has grown a great deal. We now offer over 22 hours original programming and meeting coverage each month. Advancements in technology and internet access means that today our programming is now available to more people in the community than ever before. We thank Tacoma for allowing us to come into your homes each day. It is an honor to be part of this great community. Thoughout 2009 TV Tacoma will broadcast Special Anniversary programs and specials that will look back on our last 25 years that we are sure you will enjoy. TV Tacoma is carried on both the Click! and Comcast Cable systems. On Click! TV Tacoma can be seen on Channel 12 in the Tacoma City limits and in Pierce County, with the exception of University Place, where we are found on Channel 21. On Comcast, TV Tacoma can be seen on Channel 12 in the Tacoma City limits and on Channel 21 in Pierce County. We are NOT carried on the Comcast system in University Place.
