Creative Space Survey 

In 2015, the City of Tacoma and the Greater Tacoma Community

 Foundation partnered with Artspace Projects, the nation’s leading non-profit real estate developer for the arts, to conduct a study of the space needs and preferences of artists and creatively engaged individuals living and working in Tacoma and the surrounding  region. The aim of the study was to assist the City of Tacoma, local property owners, and developers in advancing projects and providing new and affordable living, working, and other unique spaces for artists and creative individuals of all disciplines in Tacoma.

Arts and Economic Prosperity

Arts & Economic Prosperity 5

In 2016, the City of Tacoma's Office of Arts & Cultural Vitality participated in a national study called Arts and Economic Prosperity 5. The study documented the economic impact that nonprofit arts and culture organizations, and their audiences, have on the economy, both locally and nationally.
