Currently Funded Programs

The 2015-2019 City of Tacoma Human Services Strategic Plan identifies four funding priorities to serve the residents of Tacoma.  This four priorities are:

  1. Priority 1: Prepare Children and Youth For Success (Age 0-24 years)
  2. Priority 2: Meet the Basic Needs of Tacoma Residents
  3. Priority 3: Employment, Self-determination, and Empowerment for Adults (Age 16+ years)
  4. Priority 4: Enhance Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Services

The City also has two funded that are directed by our Strategic Plan.  Those funding streams are:

  1. The Human Services Stabilization Fund
  2. The Capacity and Innovation Fund
