The City of Tacoma is actively involved in our business community through the Neighborhood Business Districts that were originally created through our Neighborhood Business District Program.
These associations continue to grow independently, and in partnership through the Cross District Association.
Tacoma's Community and Economic Development Department devotedly supports the work of our Neighborhood Business Districts, our Cross District Association and the Downtown Merchants Group throuh facade improvement assistance, business coaching, and connections to City or community resources to help retain these vital establishments that keep Tacoma livable, safe, diverse, progressive and beautiful.
