The Community Council is made up of three representatives from each of the eight Neighborhood Councils. They serve as a forum for discussion of issues of broad interest. The Community Council is an independent non-profit corporation. They meet monthly to discuss a broad range of issues relating to neighborhood planning.
The responsibilities of the Community Council are to:
- Support and promote citizen participation and neighborhood enhancement,
- Promote and facilitate open communication between the City and Neighborhood Councils and provide the primary means of communication between individual Neighborhood Councils,
- Support and assist, as requested, individual Neighborhood Councils in performing their functions and responsibilities, and serve as an information resource to Neighborhood Councils.
