Instructions for Application for Certificate of Registration and Annual Business License

If your business address is your home address and you live inside the City of Tacoma, print & complete the:
Home Occupation Agreement

Complete all information - Be sure and sign all necessary applications;

Along with the completed applications, send a check or money order for the Annual Business License fee (see proration schedule on page 2 of the Annual Business License application. If your business gross receipts are less than $10,000.00 from January 1st to December 31st then no business license fee is due. You must still file both forms, above, initially.) and/or the Home Occupation License fee;

Do you own real property that you lease to others, inside the City of Tacoma?

No Home Occupation License is required for the Business Rental Property Annual License ;

Complete all forms, be sure to sign the Business Rental Property Annual License Application ;

Along with the completed application and Rental Property Supplemental List send a check or money order for the Rental Property Annual Business License fee (per the proration schedule on page 1) ;
