Joint Municipal Action Committee (JMAC)

The Joint Municipal Action Committee (JMAC) was established in the mid-1970s for the purpose of discussing common interests among the City of Tacoma, Metro Parks and the Tacoma School District. Pierce County became a member in 2005.

The representatives from each body who currently sit on JMAC are:

Tacoma City Council: Connie Ladenburg, Jake Fey, (Marilyn Strickland is the alternate)
Metro Parks: Tim Reid, Victoria Woodards
Tacoma School Board: Debbie Winskill, Kurt Miller
Pierce County Council: Tim Farrell

Debbie Winskill is the Chair for 2008.

Committee meeting schedule
JMAC regularly meets on the second Friday of each month at 8 a.m. in the 12th Floor Conference Room of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St.
