Behind the Shield
Coming up this month on Behind The Shield…….. a great way for young people to find out if they want to be involved with law enforcement as a career is to join the Explorer Scout program. The Tacoma Police Department has been working with interested individuals in this program for over 30 years. Then the Tacoma Fire Department discusses the “Community Emergency Response Team” or more commonly known as CERT, and why information learned through this program could save you during a disaster. That’s all this month on Behind The Shield. (30 mins.)
