Child Care Resource and Referral of Tacoma and Pierce County is dedicated to improving the quality, quantity, and accessibility of child care. We do this by supporting both parents and child care providers in a variety of ways.
For parents, we can provide information about the different types of child care available, how to choose a quality child care provider, and we provide referrals in any location in Pierce County. We do not recommend any of the child care facilities referred but provide you with the information to make your own choices about your child care needs. For child care providers, we have STARS trainings, phone technical assistance, on-site technical assistance, quarterly newsletters, a lending library, and much more. For information and assistance please call 591-2025, and select option 3.
