The Code is current through the Council meeting date of December 15, 2009*.

Unless specifically addressed in the ordinance, changes to the Tacoma Municipal Code are effective 10 days after the ordinance has been published (publishing typically takes place two days after an ordinance is passed.)

Ordinance 27843, passed Nov. 3, 2009 has two delayed effective dates (January 1, 2010 and September 1, 2010). The sections of Code affected by this ordinance will be updated at the time they become effective.
