The Tacoma Municipal Court has courtrooms on the first and second floors of the County-City Building.

In-custody arraignment hearing information for the Tacoma Municipal Court is also published on the Pierce County web.

- Arraignments for in-custody defendants are held Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, beginning at 9:30 a.m., in Courtroom 134 on the first floor of the County-City Building.
- Arraignments for defendants who have bailed out of jail are held Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, beginning at 1:30 p.m., in Hearings Room 135 on the first floor of the County-City Building.
- Arraignments for defendants cited but not booked are held Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, beginning at 1:30 p.m., in Hearings Room 135 on the first floor of the County-City Building.
All other court hearings are scheduled throughout the day. Please check the calendars posted outside each courtroom for the time of day and the specific courtroom where your case will be heard.

Parking at the County-City Building is limited. Some public parking is available in the parking lot located behind the County-City Building on 11th St. between Tacoma Ave S and Yakima Ave. There is on-street parking available to a maximum of one hour. Allow sufficient time before a scheduled hearing to locate a parking space.
Public transportation is also available to the County-City Building. Check the Pierce Transit Customer Service for bus route information to and around the County-City Building, phone (253) 581-8000.

All court proceedings are recorded and all persons are asked to sit quietly until their case is called.
- Be polite and courteous to the Judge, to those around you, and to court personnel.
- Remove hats upon entering the courtroom.
- Suitable attire is required.
- Please turn off pagers and cell phones.
- No smoking, food or drink is allowed in the courtrooms.
- Weapons are not only prohibited in the courtroom, they are not allowed in the County-City Building.
- Children may be present in the courtroom; however, if they disturb the proceedings, you may be requested to remove them. The court does not provide child care services.
