Wastewater from our toilets and sinks goes through the sewer pipes to a Wastewaster treatment plant where it is treated before it is returned to our natural environment. Learn more about the treatment process. If you live in a house, wastewater first goes through a side sewer which connects to the City's main sewer lines out in the streets.
