Description: If you or someone you know has a disability, is elderly and/or very low income, the Major Home Repair program may be able to provide for the repair or replacement of a failed component of your home, such as a heating system, roof, sewer, an unsafe electrical service, carpentry or inside plumbing. Minor home repair is also covered for those who qualify.

Description: The primary function of the Landlord/Tenant program is to receive, analyze, and resolve landlord-tenant disputes that arise under the Washington State Residential Landlord-Tenant Act (RCW 59.18). This service is free and available to both property owners and tenants within the Tacoma City limits.

Description: Tacoma-Pierce County Coalition to End Homelessness is Pierce County's response to homelessness. They wish to end chronic homelessness, prevent its recurrence, and decrease its effect on communities. We plan to do this by identifying and analyzing the causes of homelessness and developing and implementing long-term solutions that remove these causes. We work with service providers, local communities, public and nonprofit sectors, and homeless people to implement these solutions.

Description: The Family Shelter is a 71 bed facility providing emergency housing for families and single women. Our Family Life Café feeds three meals a day plus evening snacks in a cheerful and warm dining atmosphere. Along with the basic essentials, of food, clothing, shelter, and laundry facilities, we offer loving accountability that builds lives for a more successful future. Our case managers help bring stability and resources for clients to transition into housing and jobs.
