The City of Tacoma’s 2004 Annual Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use Regulatory Code has been completed in compliance with the requirements of the State Growth Management Act.
2004 Land Use Intensity Changes and Zoning Reclassifications - adopted by the City Council per Ordinance No. 27296, November 16, 2004. A part of the changes is the 1st phase of amendment to the Critical Areas Preservation Ordinance (CAPO), adopted by the City Council per Ordinance No. 27294, November 16, 2004.
CAPO Interim Regulations - adopted by the City Council per Ordinance No. 27300, December 14, 2004. They serve as the “temporary zoning controls” effective after the 1st phase CAPO amendment (as mentioned above) and before the 2nd phase amendment is completed in 2005.
