Council Chambers Improvement Project
The City Council Chambers Improvement Project is expected to begin construction on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, and is estimated to be completed in early July 2024.
During the construction timeline, City Council meetings will be temporarily moved to the Tacoma Public Utilities Auditorium (3628 South 35th Street, in Tacoma). The first meeting held in the auditorium will be on June 4, 2024. All City Council meetings will continue to be held on Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. at this facility until the project is completed.
